Suppose I had said

To my father

When he told me to get

A haircut

But this is the way

I like it

Then he would

Have said

You look like

A Bolshevik

And suppose

I had said

Oh?

Then he would

Have said

You want to look

Like a sissy

Or a regular fellow?

And suppose

I had said

Bolshevik

Good God

World War II

Might never
